Siargao Island

Here I am again..Writing one of my favorite destination in Northern Mindanao the Siargao Island. We decided to travel 8 hours from Davao City to Surigao City, and it was a very tiring overnight road trip. Around 4 in the morning we arrived in the port of Surigao, waiting our boat to load and cross to Siargao Island. The boat is too small to carry hundred of passenger and cargo but after an hour we arrived in Dapa.

Surigao City the dropping point to Siargao Island..
Siargao is the Surfing capital in the Philippines. Unluckily our visit is off season. No big waves, less tourist and no tournaments. Anyhow we went there not for surfing but the white beaches, and Siargao never fail our expectation.  A place where you can relax, no pollution, eat fresh seafood and a very friendly locals.

Where to stay? Most tourist  stayed in General Luna or  in Cloud 9 but worry less their rooms are very cheap. But we decided to rent an old rest house. The next morning we go ahead to Island hopping.
